Hi
The Better Speaking Class for caregivers with loved ones who have aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria and other speaking difficulties either expressive or receptive will be starting up this Wednesday at 3 PM MTN time 12.30.20 and then continuing on Thursdays, at 3 PM MTN time.
Our classes will be offered in a block of 4 classes where you can be personally mentored by Moshe Mark. He will determine the extent of the speaking difficulty of your loved one by having you do simple tasks and reporting the results back to him. Then he will meet with the class and each person will be advised what to do next. The class requires that you send short videos following the simple suggestions that you are given. During the week between classes
you can send him your short videos and he will then determine if your are doing the method correctly and will also show you what you can do to even make better progress.
This class is terrific for those who are not happy with the therapy they are receiving or for those who have been discharged from treatment due to insurance caps or progress concerns.
We are sure you will enjoy the class. They are fun, humorous and full of good ideas that you can immediately implement at home for better speaking.
Here is the link so that you can start the course on Wednesday at 3 PM MTN time.
Here is a toast to 2021 being the year for better talking!!!
Mark,
"You have been an amazing teacher. Pnut had his stroke in December and I found you in January. I am so grateful for the many years of work that you have spent teaching people like Pnut how to speak again. I have learned so much over the past 9 months especially during this pandemic from you. I have so many tools and tips that you taught, and-will continue to watch the YouTube videos that you share with the public. This is a very sincere
journey for me and Pnut, as we talked to each other all the time before the stroke, and we will continue to do that, all while he learns to speak again. You were a true blessing to me and to him and I tell people about you all the time. You should be very proud of what you do and the passion that you have in this field."
