Hi
Why are there so may caregivers and family members who feel helpless and dont know what to do to help their loved ones with aphasia or apraxia talk again, and interact with speech?
They are often given workbooks or talking machines that will really not help them converse or talk with other people naturally. They need to be taught what to do to help their loved ones talk within a conversation
“We have been working with Moshe Mark Ittlemanfor five years (my husband is 6 years post stroke with apraxia and aphasia ). His speech has improved greatly, and our communication has gone from total frustration to a deeper than ever relationship. I have gone from feeling helpless to having the confidence to know I can help him
to continue to improve whether or not we have access to speech therapy in the future.”
Learning to talk is a journey and it requires patience and continual effort with specialized methods you can learn.
