Prior to COVID, intensive aphasia treatment programs were being offered by Universities for aphasia, but rarely apraxia.  Intensive Aphasia Programs have also been offered by medical centers.

 

Intensive treatment programs are also provided by small companies who would have those with aphasia travel to their facility and stay for a specific period of time.   Now the attempt is to provide an "intensive approach" online.

 

Moshe Mark Ittleman, speech-language pathologist and author-lecturer will compare intensive aphasia treatment programs and make comparisons and insights even for those that offer online training.
