Our Challenge Apraxia Talking Improvement at Home
Recognize the Challenge
There are lots of ways that we are responding to this covid.19.
How People are Responding to the News
Some are wishing it never happened and put their heads in the sand, zone out, and hope that it doesn’t hit home.
There are some who are committed to the fact this is a life threatening situation and must prepare in every way so that we see daylight on the other side when the virus passes.
We must decide today that we will prevail in the end.
We can not wish for this thing to end, basically ignore it, and turn on Netflix. That is the recipe for failure.
People who survive face their challenges head on.
If you are a member of The Teaching of Talking Mailing list I know that you are interested in learning more about aphasia and apraxia. If you are concerned about speech therapy clinics closing down and continue to desire improved speaking for your loved one or client, you have a special opportunity coming open in approximately 1 week on Arpil 15 and 16. You will get 2
separate e mails which will give you a choice of meetings.
I will be presenting a free Webinar entitled:
How to Assure Continued Improvement of Talking during a Crisis for those with Apraxia
Click on the green button below to register for the free Innovative and Problem Solving Seminar that will teach you about apraxia and what you must know to help a loved one or client talk again or better at home.
This material is totally different than the Teaching of Talking Training Method for Aphasia and deals with motor speech, articulation and teaching the client with apraxia how to move the speech organs to make correct sounds that make up words.
APRAXIA HELP AT HOME COMES BEFORE APHASIA THERAPY FOR MANY
For many, one can not address aphasia until the apraxia is significantly improved, and you can learn what to do to improve it.
