We frequently speak with caregivers and therapists who are very concerned with not only helping those with aphasia talk, but also helping them comprehend spoken language.  

 

 

The importance of the ability to listen is a skill that we all need.  The ability is crucial in successful relationships with others.  

 

 

However, it is a totally different subject when it comes to those who have aphasia.  The ability to listen can improve considerably if one knows some simple fundamental principles.  Many with aphasia have considerable difficulty listening/comprehending and this video will help you help them listen better, which will, in turn, also help them speak better.
